Description

The Wai-Ti™ Organic is a hop that has been bringing a great freshness of lime and nuts since it was released in 2011. It inherits the Mittelfrüh and has the Liberty as its grandfather.

With a low level of alpha acids and cohumulone, WAI-TI™ Organic develops a very mild bitterness that predisposes it quite nicely to single hop beers.

Note that when added at the mid/end of the brew, citrus fruits are placed in the background and the nuts take over.

Aromas: Peach, Apricot, Spices, Lime, Tropical fruits

Usage: Pale Ale, Lager, IPA, Wheat

Acids:

Alpha: 2.5 - 3.5
Beta: 4.5 - 5.5
Cohumulone: 22 - 24%.

Cumulative oils: 1 - 1.6ml/100g

Possible substitutes: Riwaka

As a result, non-organic cultivation can lead to multiple treatments (using synthetic products in particular), which are detrimental to biodiversity in the soil and in the vicinity of hop fields. Organic farming preserves soil life, insects, birds, etc. - in short, biodiversity.

**Organic hop growing favors the use of compost and other fertilizers of natural origin. This results in a high concentration of carbon in the soil. Less CO2 in the air = less warming of the atmosphere.
