Callista is a relatively new hop that was developed a decade ago at the Hop Research Center in Hüll as part of the research for the development of aroma varieties.
It is a descendant of the Hallertau Tradition and a Huell male. The word " Callista " can have different meanings, but in Greek it means "the most beautiful" ;-). Due to a low cohumulone content, Callista will provide a smooth and balanced bitterness.
