Comet ist eine Hopfensorte aus den USA, die Anfang der 1970er Jahre auf den Markt kam. Dieser Hopfen polarisiert definitiv! Er ist schon eine Weile auf dem Markt und gehört zu den Sorten mit den unterschiedlichsten Online-Bewertungen – das will schon was heißen. Manche mögen sein Aroma überhaupt nicht, andere lieben es. Wer weiß? Manche beschreiben Ananas im Duft, andere empfinden ihn eher als zitrusartig oder nach Grapefruit.
Das Vorhandensein von Alphas sollte einen nicht daran erinnern, dass auch ein signifikanter Anteil an Cohumulon enthalten ist, das dem Getränk eine ausgeprägte Bitterkeit verleiht; Sie wissen ja, was Sie erwartet!

Le COMET est un houblon originaire des Etats-Unis, qui a été mis sur le marché au début des années 1970. Il est du genre à ne pas vous laisser indifférent! Il est donc là depuis un moment et c’est un des houblons avec le plus de différences entre les différentes revues que l’on trouve sur lui en ligne, c’est pour dire. Certain.es n’aiment pas du tout ses arômes, d’autres l’adorent. Allez savoir… Au nez certains parlent d’ananas avec plutôt de l’agrume/pamplemousse en bouche.
Des alphas contenus ne doivent pas faire oublier un taux de cohumulone significatif, qui lui apportera une franche amertume; vous savez à quoi vous en tenir!
